Facts on Domestic Violence

Family violence in Canada: A statistical profile, 2005. An estimated 7% of women and 6% of men representing 653,000 women and 546,000 men in a current or previous spousal relationship encountered spousal violence during the five years up to and including 2004, according to a comprehensive Statistics Canada report on family violence.

Women victims 24% - lowest proportion ever

(24%), were the lowest since 1961
62 spousal homicides - no change from 2007
Lowest rate in 40 years

We are a local branch of
Fathers-4-Justice Canada

Members of F4J are a cross section of concerned Canadian citizens

both men and women who recognize the bias and injustice in the current family law

system where children are used as prizes.

We believe in truth, justice and equality.

We are your co-workers, neighbours, friends and family.

Our Mission

F4J Fathers-4-Justice (Canada) believes, and will tirelessly promote, every child's RIGHT in life and law,

to be raised by both parents on an equal basis in the event of separation and/or divorce.

We further believe that such equality in parenting has been clearly shown to be in the best interests of children.

Our Purpose

F4J Fathers-4-Justice (Canada ) will demand an end to the systemic removal of

either parent from children's lives by family courts;

F4J Fathers-4-Justice (Canada ) will demand the basic civil and human RIGHT to

enjoy a meaningful, loving relationship with one's own children;

F4J Fathers-4-Justice (Canada) will demand that children's rights to

an equal relationship with their parents be recognized and protected in law;

F4J Fathers-4-Justice (Canada ) will advocate for the dismantling of Canada's family law system,

to be replaced by a fair, balanced and transparent rules-based environment.
