I hope you will be able to keep yourself busy in their and if the prisons in Britain are like the prisons in Canada the only trouble you will have is having the patience to play cards with crack addicts. Their attention span is definitely shot. Also, the system in GB probably allows for shortened sentences if you are share a cell with someone. Therefore the system will be letting out a drug dealer murderer or child molester earlier than they are sentence because they put you in a cell with them. Of course fathers put in jail are not privy to such leaniency?

Having never been to "prison" he took with him a small backpack with his cell phone, Blackberry, and similar personal items. Needless to say he was not allowed to keep them. Before they booked him in they allowed him to call me and meet with him and pick up his remaining possessions, which will reside safely in my office for the next few years until his release. Like many men he had no criminal record or history of violence before his wife's false accusations started flying unconstrained. He was ordered by the court from his home, denied his children, and lost virtually everything he had sacrificed his entire adult life to achieve, including a very lucrative real estate business. It mattered not that an adulterous wife moved into the marital home her boyfriend. It mattered not that the lover and wife twice tried to run over him twice with a car. The courts had no concern for the wife's betrayals, lies, misrepresentations, false accusations, alienation of the children, falsification of legal documents, and perjury. In fact, as we know, the courts soundly believe her to be the better parent. It is this wayward woman, a treacherous wife and a woeful court system that drove this good man to prison, just like you perhaps and tens of thousands of other good well meaning men and fathers across the westernized world. Know that each minute you spend in jail is one minute closer to freedom for all of us. Take care please, we are the future and need you for the rest of us men, our children, and the women that love us.
